Steven Richard Davis is a Los Angeles-based composer, widely recognized for his contributions to film, television, video games, and commercials, including a prolific portfolio of over 100 projects, each exemplifying his distinctive compositional style.

He began his musical odyssey as a percussionist in elementary school. By the age of 12, he founded the band Lamoor, where he showcased his talents as lead vocalist and guitarist. His formal education in recording arts and music production at California State University, San Marcos culminated in the attainment of his bachelor's degree, and he later studied composition at UCLA.

Post-graduation, he found he profoundly enjoyed writing music in the studio, ultimately eclipsing his desire to tour with the band. The turning point in his career came with a viewing of the film Amadeus, a portrayal of the life of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The film ignited a passion for composing that prompted his decision to relocate to Los Angeles in 2006 and enroll in UCLA's film composition program.

He has had the opportunity to collaborate with luminaries in the field, including Christopher Young, Lorne Balfe, Brian Tyler, Danny Elfman, Hans Zimmer, Benjamin Wallfisch, Steve Jablonsky, and Heitor Pereira. Together, they have worked on notable projects ranging from major studio feature films to Marvel productions and video games such as Warframe and Assassin's Creed: Black Flag.

Presently, as the owner of SRD Music, Steven and his team are committed to delivering exceptional music for film, television, and video games.
